• 1886 Florida Gazetteer which includes a directory of all towns in Florida. This is just for the towns in Indian River County
• 1905 Petition by citizens of present-day Indian River County to the Board of County commissioners of St. Lucie County.
• 1908 Removal of names from the "Registration Books" (assumed to be voters) who have died or left the county.
• 1914 List of Registered Voters of St. Lucie County, specific to towns in Indian River County
• 1916 Business Directory in order by business/occupation. This was most likely printed in one of the St. Lucie County newspapers
• 1925 Fort Pierce City Directory - This is a photocopy of all present day towns of Indian River County only.
• 1927 Vero Beach City Directory - Includes business directory, churches, hotels, index to advertising, historical information on each town in the county, alphabetical index of Vero Beach families, street directory, Fellsmere index of residents (p.159-162), Sebastian index of residents (p.162-164), Roseland index of residents (p.164-164), Gifford index of residents (p.165-166), Wabasso index of residents (p.166-168), Winter Beach index of residents (p.168-169)
• 1931-1932 Southern Bell Telephone Directory. Ends in "S" - pages missing
• 1940 Census Index (PDF searchable) - Indexed by Ronald Di Ninni
• 1945 Indian River County Census Index
• 1956 Telephone Directory of Vero Beach, Sebastian, Melbourne. Also includes Fort Pierce. Since this was published January, this would be all residents from 1955. Donated by J. J. Wilson. Scanned at the library April 2014. This is a large file and will download slowly.
• 2002-2008 Births listed in the Vero Beach Press Journal
• 2002-2008 Weddings listed in the Vero Beach Press Journal
• Churches of Indian River County
• Index of names and subjects to FIFTEEN Indian River County local history books.
• The George Keyes Collection History of Sebastian.
• Index to 7000+ photographs from the Indian River County Historical Society collection
• Index to 32,000+ photographs printed in newspapers, serials, and other types of news media. Most all locations are in the vertical files located in the Archive Center. Indexed by volunteeer Marcia Eyberse
• Index to subjects found in the Indian River Pictorial published in 1983-1989
• Indian River County Families - A listing of all families and individuals that exist in a vertical file located in the Archive Center. Pioneers (pre 1925) are in bold. Some of the files have a "see" file meaning the family is in a different location. Most of the work was done by volunteer Jan Gay.
