Military Collection

The Main Library opened 1 February 1991 due to a generous donation from the Julian W. Lowenstein family. The Archive Center & Genealogy Department is currently 4000 sq ft and is a repository for many local collections as a way to preserve photographs and documents. The Archive Center & Genealogy Department was named in honor of Mr. Lowenstein.

The Archive Center & Genealogy Department depends greatly on the support of the community as well as the volunteers that work many hours per week assisting patrons and working on special projects such as indexing and preserving the materials being researched or that have been donated. We would like to recognize them for their dedication.
